Customise, personalise or breathe new life into something special.
Some garments just need a little extra. Transform an off-the-peg gown by adding lace or beading; re-shape a neckline, add straps or change the length. Customise a pre-loved or sample wedding dress for a cost-effective and eco-friendly way to get something that’s really “you”. Give a vintage or heirloom gown a personalised update and wear it again.
THE PROCESS
1. Consultation: Bring what you've got and we’ll discuss your ideas.
2. First fitting: With alterations and additions pinned in place, check your creation. You will need to wear the underwear you intend to wear for the event, and bring your shoes.
3. Second fitting: Check on the progress.
4. Additional fittings: As needed.
5. Collection: Pick up your reinvention in a garment bag, on a padded hanger, pressed and ready to wear.
GUIDE PRICES
The cost depends on how much the piece needs to be altered and what modifications you want to make. I will give you a quote at your consultation.
TIMELINE
Book your first consultation for at least three months ahead of the event. Get in touch asap to secure my services.
GOOD TO KNOW
Alas, there are only so many hours in the day and since I work on my own, I can get booked up months in advance, especially from Easter to September, so it’s best to book as early as you can.
